The lizard is a reptile, usually with four-legs, ranging in size from a few centimeters
to nearly ten feet. Lizards have external ear openings and movable eyelids.
The lizard can be distinguished from a snake by the presence of eyelids and ears.
Also, the tail of most lizards will break off as a defense mechanism, unlike snakes.
In most cases, the tail will grow back.
Lizards typically feed on insects, such as meal worms, or rodents. A few lizard
species, such as the iguana however, are omnivorous or herbivorous.
