Appearance: They are grayish, black, and brown, with rough scales. Diet: They eat insects, spiders, and other invertebrates. Habitat: They live in dry, open forests. Particularly near old logs and stumps. Breeding: The Female lizards lay 3-16 eggs in the late spring. The eggs hatch around the late summer. The babies look like minature adults. |
