Native to: The Komodo Dragon is native to the Komodo national park. Rinca, Komodo, Flores, Gili, Montang, and Padar are the islands that make up the park.

Adult Size: When the male Komodo dragon is fully grown he will be 8 to 10 feet in length and weigh around 200 lbs. When the female is fully grown she will be under 8 feet and weigh around 150 lbs.

Komoto Dragon Appearance: The Komodo Dragon is a color that varies from earthen red to slate gray and black. The Komodo Dragon had 60, razor sharp, serrated teeth.

Komoto Dragon Diet: The Komodo Dragon will eat anything from pigs and small deer to other small dragons and injured humans.

Ease of care: Not able to be owned.

Habitat: The Komodo national park has steep slopes and little water. The average temperature is 80 degrees F. Most Komodo Dragons live in the lower arid forest and savanna.

Sleeping habits: The komodo Dragon sleeps at night like most other Lizards. As the sun rises it warms their blood and awakens them.

Temperament: The Komodo Dragon is dangerous and should not be touched.

Komodo Dragon Breeding: Females lay a nest of up to 30 eggs. When the babies hatch they are about 15 inches long and weigh 3.5 ounces.
